My gut feel (no evidence at all to support this) is that internally this chargepoint contains a dismantled Tesla CHAdeMO adaptor, so in effect the chargepoint just thinks it's running a normal CHAdeMO session but through a different cable.
That explains the 50kW limit on this connector despite it being a 100kW station, and it's also the only way I can think they'd get around all the product liability/interop testing issues, other than by partnering with Tesla which surely would have been announced if it were happening.
And it's also the only way I know of to buy chunky Tesla charging plugs anyway!
